In June 2004 Babush Material Handling Systems, Inc. conducted a customer satisfaction and perception survey. Babush hired a research firm to conduct the survey. The reason: Babush wants to continue to improve and help exceed the needs of its customer base. Our goal is not to just have satisfied customers but to have loyal customers.

Babush is pleased to provide all of our current customers and future prospects with the results of this survey as you seek to continue to monitor developments at Babush.

Our survey was anonymous, electronic and was conducted by an independent third party. The following is an executive summary of the results of their survey:

  1. 50% of our customers recognize us as a systems integrator while the rest use us as an equipment provider or distributor. This result is significant as Babush has invested heavily in a new building, engineering support and other staffing to make us a leading systems integrator. But, at the same time, we can also provide the equipment that you need on a daily basis.

  2. Over 60% of our customer base comes from “word of mouth”. What is significant about this statistic for you? If our customers were not satisfied they would not recommend us over and over again!

  3. 47.1% of you are interested in RFID information. We have good news! As a result of our survey, we will be conducting an RFID day at Babush complete with an RFID test loop.

  4. 76.2% of you have told us that you prefer to receive information via E-mail versus other media types. Babush is now introducing our first of many E-newsletters. Each newsletter will feature a case study, a material handling tip and other useful information that you need. You asked for it and we are providing it!

  5. Over 90% of our customers view their overall satisfaction level as satisfied or above in the following areas:
    services provided
    product offering
    ease of doing business
    sales and administration and engineering
    According to our research firm they have not seen such positive results from a customer satisfaction survey.

  6. “The proof is in the pudding”. Of all the customers responding, each reported that they would do business with Babush again! No one reported that they would not do business with Babush again. Even the small amount of customers with problems had them resolved by Babush. Again our research firm felt that this was very exceptional and a great testament to the commitment Babush makes to its customers.

  7. Cost, delivery, quality, professional sales staff and engineering were reasons that customers chose Babush for the job.
